God and His Oneness by Awad Siman
| |
| | |
|
God and His Oneness

objections of philosophers, and discusses the position of Islam
concerning the Trinity." The author studied all revelations and the
authenticity of these revelations concerning God's Unity as recorded in

discussed the opinions of: disbelieving philosophers, suspicious
Christian philosophers, and Muslim scholars in regard to the Trinity,
and refuted their objections as we have mentioned.

| |
| | |
|
How Did God Reveal Himself?
"This book is a deep analytical study about the incarnation of the Lord
Jesus Christ. It refutes the objections of philosophers and Muslim
scholars and supports the truth of the incarnation of God." The author
studied books of religion and philosophy about incarnation; and found
that incarnation agrees with the believing mind, and it is the opposite
of " Incarnation disagrees with the mind" as the others say.He discussed
God's appearances and revelations as recorded in the Bible. He also
commented on Qur'anic verses which embody the fact of incarnation in
Islam that the Muslim scholars reject and deny.He emphasised the
necessity of this incarnation for the salvation of Mankind.

God in Philosophy and Christianity by Awad Siman
| |
| | |
|
God in Philosophy and Christianity
"This book is an attempt by the Limited (man) to apprehend the Unlimited
(God) in His attributes and unity. It exhibits the problems of the
Abstract and Absolute Divine Unity, and defines the Universal Divine
Unity that is suited to God as recorded in the Bible." The author found
that the only difference between the Christian revelation and the
opinions of the philosophers, concerning God' Universal Divine Unity, is
that the former is very clear and evident, whereas the latter is
obscure, abstruse, and vague.

My Trust in Christ
"This book is about Christ's unique character. Who is He? Is He God's
Son…the expected saviour as He called himself? The answer of this
question is very important; because our eternal relation to God, we
human beings, depends on our relation to Christ in this life. This book
answers the previous question and it mentions three main attributes that
testify for Christ. 1-His influence on history. 2-The fulfillment of the
prophecies of the Old Testament in Him. 3-His resurrection. Christianity

My Trust in the Christian Experience by Josh McDowell
| |
| | |
|
My Trust in the Christian Experience
"This book is a perceptible answer and a defence of the truth, of what
the Christians believe in. It is an effort to answer the question "Why
are you a Christian?" The Christian faith is based on proofs; it is a
belief based on the mind and goes beyond the mind, but is not against
it. The Christian faith is an objective one- its essence is Christ
himself-. Its importance is not the person who believes, but the
"Person" in whom we believe." From this point of view, we find in this
book testimonies and experiences of many persons from various
nationalities and occupations, also from different religious
backgrounds. All of them believed in Jesus Christ and suffered for his
sake. So, their testimonies and experiences were very fruitful in
bringing many people to Christ.

The Incarnation of God by Servant of the Lord
| |
| | |
|
The Incarnation of God
The subject of the Incarnation of God is one of the most important and
difficult subjects that the human mind has discussed. For this reason,
we see in this book a precise discussion in regard to the incarnation of
God. "He (God) appeared in body" in the Person of Jesus Christ. We also
see an emphasis on Jesus' two natures with their attributes: First, his
Divine Nature. This reality is declared and testified by Jesus himself as
well as by the apostles, and the existence of Jesus from of old before
his incarnation. The second one is the Human Nature: Jesus' blameless
life (the Son of Man,Jesus, is the only one without sin), gave the best
evidence of this nature. The harmony of these two natures emphasises
that Jesus Christ is the Perfecter of the Divine Revelation and His life
is a fulfillment of God's plan for the salvation from sin.

Faith Without Works Is Dead (James)
This booklet is a deep precise study of the Epistle of James to the

to love each other, and to pray for each other. It emphasises the close
relation between faith and good works. God asks all people, especially
the believers in Christ, to act according to His will. His will urges
rich people to give generously, and not to live only for the sake of
accumulating money. It also urges other people not to be envious, and
urges all people to be content with what they have.

Is the Gospel of Christ One or Four? by Iskander Jadeed
| |
| | |
|
Is the Gospel of Christ One or Four?
This booklet clarifies the fact that the Gospel is one although it was
written by four persons who were inspired by the Holy Spirit. And for
this reason we say the Gospel according to Mathew, or according to Mark,
or according to Luke, or according to John. The first Gospel was written
by Mathew to convince the Jews that Jesus Christ is the expected
Messiah, who brings the kingdom of God to men. The second Gospel was
written by Mark and was probably written at Rome and primarily for the
Romans. This Gospel explains Jewish customs and Jesus is presented as
the great Conqueror- of storms, disease, demons and death. The third
Gospel was written by Luke the physician, with his Greek cultural
background. This Gospel presents Jesus Christ not only the Divine Savior
of the entire world, but also the Almighty Redeemer who is the only begotten
Son of God. Luke addresses in his Gospel the Gentiles, as well as the
Jews. The fourth Gospel was written by John, the beloved. This Gospel
shows that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and believing in Him gives
everlasting life. John gives the Jews the proof that Jesus is the
promised Old Testament Messiah and he (John), addresses in his Gospel,
the Jews and the Gentiles. In short, each of the evangelists focussed on
a certain corner of Jesus’ life with more details than the others, but
the essence is one.

|
Jochebed and Miriam (Women in the Bible
Series)
This booklet discusses in a very brief way the life of two women,
Jochebed and Miriam, as recorded in the Bible. It is one of the
series of booklets about “Women in the Bible.” The purpose of these
booklets is to show the reader the importance of obeying God’s word and
to live according to it, taking the life of these women as example.
Jochebed is the daughter of Levi, wife of Amram, and mother of Moses,
Aaron and Miriam. “After she gave birth to Moses, she hid him at home
for three months, on account of an edict of Pharoah. When he could no
longer be safely concealed, she put him in an ark of bulrushes, placed
him at the river’s edge, and put his sister (Miriam) on watch. Miriam,
the sister of Moses, and on seeing that her brother was found,
approached and asked Pharoah’s daughter who found the child, if she
could call a nurse from the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child.
The princess agreed with certain instruction, and Miriam brought Moses
back to his mother to nurse him and he was saved from death.” Miriam, on the other hand, was
a prophetess, but she was stricken with leprosy for speaking against
Moses during the wilderness wanderings; because she was unhappy with her
role and jealous of Moses. Jochebed and Miriam obeyed God more than
Pharoah and could save Moses from death, and he delivered his people out
of Egypt.

Naomi and Ruth (Women in the Bible Series) by Dora Beck
| |
| | |
|
Naomi and Ruth (Women in the Bible Series)
The life story of Naomi and Ruth shows us how God changes a bitter life
into a pleasant one, through the life of another person. When famine
spread in Judah; Naomi, her husband and their two sons moved to Moab.
The sons took for themselves Moabite women as wives after the death of
the father, but the wives could not give birth to children. After the
death of her husband and the two sons; Naomi became desperate and
changed her name to Mara (bitter) and returned to Bethlehem after about
ten years, accompanied by her faithful daughter-in-law Ruth. Ruth, the
loyal daughter-in-law of Naomi, could change the bitterness in Naomi’s
life into happiness. And because of her loyalty and good qualifications,
she was rewarded by her marriage to Boaz, Naomi’s relative, and the Lord
enabled her to conceive, and she gave birth to a son and they named him
Obed. He was the father of Jesse, the father of David. Ruth’s name is
always associated with the book which carries her name in the Bible, the
Book of Ruth.
